The times in which we live demand to operate in a socially responsible manner, which is why Steelux is committed to conducting its business in a way that contributes to sustainable development. We are committed to the well-being of the society, as well as the environment, while operating efficiently.

• Environment
Environmental issues are becoming increasingly a concern in internal management systems. Reducing waste and the consumption of resources that directly impact the environment are some of the measures we have implemented.

• Welfare
Ensuring good working conditions, equal opportunities, ergonomic factors that impact the well-being, health and quality of life in the company of our employees and implementing prevention and well-being programs at work, are some of the measures in which we invest.

• Accountability
Our actions and decisions not only have an internal impact, but also on all stakeholders, which leads us to be transparent and honest about all the operations we conduct.

Trade Policy

Relationships with our business partners are based on honest, fair and mutually beneficial negotiations, which is why the company is driven by the values listed below.

• Fair and ethical working conditions, while respecting globally recognized human rights;

• Safe and healthy working conditions in accordance with local laws, with appropriate occupational safety and health procedures in place;

• Strict compliance with local laws and industry regulations;

• No type of discrimination will be tolerated, whether based on race, color, origin, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, age, union and/or political affiliation, among others;

• No person under the age of 16 who has not reached the compulsory education will be hired;

• Any kind of threat, harassment, use of financial sanctions or other forms of abuse, coercion and intimidation, whether intellectual or physical, is prohibited;

• No form of corruption, money laundering or illegal financing will be tolerated;

• Financial support, percentages, bribes or other payments that may jeopardize the objectivity and fairness of commercial decisions will not be accepted;

• Any use of forced labour, whether in the form of prison labour, apprenticeship, forced labour or any other form, will not be accepted. Any type of work or service imposed under the threat of punishment in the event of lack of results, or for which the general conditions of employment are not voluntary, is considered forced labor;

• Fundamental business principles related to trade secrets, respect for intellectual property, sincerity, truthfulness of information, transparency and compliance with commitments contribute to maintaining stable and sustainable business relationships with our partners;

• We ensure that production, delivery or any other operation subject to specific governmental, legal or regulatory approvals only begins after the relevant authorizations have been granted.

Steelux expects its partners, suppliers and other stakeholders to respect these principles in the same way. Any discrepancy must be reported to management for analysis and implementation of possible corrective actions.
